The Resources and Energy Division consists of two companies; namely, Tirhani Resources (Pty) Ltd and Corporation du Developpement Centrafricaine SA Holdings (“CDC”).

• Established in 2015, Tirhani Resources is domiciled in South Africa but is currently dormant.
• CDC is a diversified holding company registered according to the laws of the Central African Republic (“CAR”) in 2009, with commercial activities in advisory services, agriculture and forestry, construction, general trade (import/export), mining and transport logistics. CDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of CAR in 2020 to advance its social entrepreneurship business philosophy of facilitating economic and social development in CAR. The MOU culminated in the conclusion of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between ORGEM and CDC Holdings to form a joint venture (JV) and operating companies for the exploitation and development of strategic mineral and petroleum assets in CAR. The ORGEM and CDC JV has since been allocated a basket of 6 mineral and petroleum permits for exploration and development.
